To determine which products will work best on your skin, your therapist must find out which elemental nature category you fit into.  Aveda’s elements are infinity, air, fire, water and earth and the questionnaire will reveal which you are. 

The questionnaire is designed to give a holistic view of your health and well-being as this has a direct impact on the condition and needs of your skin.  Questions such as how your energy levels are on the day, whether you feel hot or cold and how you slept last night can reveal why your skin may not be as healthy as it could be.  Questions relating to your stress levels, asking whether you feel nervous, anxious, angry, emotional or withdrawn are also telling.  The questionnaire also asks more direct questions about your skin, such as whether you feel it’s dehydrated, sensitive or too oily.
